After being in a serious car accident last week, Alijah Arenas is on the road to recovery. The son of former NBA all-star Gilbert Arenas, Alijah, was placed in a medically induced coma after the Tesla Cyber Truck he was driving struck a tree and a fire hydrant shortly before 5 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, in Los Angeles. On Gil’s Arena, Gilbert’s podcast, co-host Josiah Johnson revealed that Alijah would soon be getting discharged from the hospital. “Happy to announce that Alijah’s doing much better,” Johnson said. “Walking, talking, progressing very well, should be released from the hospital very soon. No major injuries as a result of the car accident.” Following the accident, the Arenas family thanked bystanders on the scene who helped rescue Alijah inside the truck after it caught fire. Amid their tenuous divorce proceedings, West Coast legend Xzibit and his estranged wife Krista Joiner had been legally declared single. According to PEOPLE, Xzibit and Joiner’s official request for bifurcation was granted, and they were both “restored to the status of single persons” on Monday, April 28. Xzibit filed for the bifurcation on April 24, and it “separates marital status from divorce proceedings regarding child and spousal support.” Per the filing, the pair separated “over four years ago” and “in the present case, the parties’ marriage is no longer viable, and reconciliation is not possible.” “While I am hopeful that a trial on all the issues will be set in the very near future, in all likelihood it may take months for the trial to commence and longer to conclude,” Xzibit wrote in the documents. “I no longer want to be married to Petitioner. I request that our marital status be terminated as soon as possible,” his filing continued. “Restoring Petitioner and I to single persons is in both of our best interests and will allow us to alleviate emotional strain and pressure and hopefully help facilitate settlement on all reserved issues.” Roslyn Esquire,  Xzibit’s lawyer, also claimed that Joiner’s legal representatives haven’t gotten back to her since April 7. According to TMZ, the documents were filed by the couple to amend her current spousal support to over $21,000 and child support to over $9,000 “in order to maintain their lifestyle.” Also, Joiner and their son were removed from their home because they could not pay the $10,000 rent, among other luxury expenses such as designer clothing. Joiner is also requesting $300,000 in attorney fees. Speaking with InTouch Weekly, Joiner explained her difficult situation. “I am extremely concerned that I have no funds in case of an emergency, and during the present fire-related emergency,” Joiner said. “[Xzibit] has proven that he will not assist, or even inquire to see if we need help, during this or any other emergency.”

Saquon Barkley is responding to his critics after he was spotted golfing and hanging with President Donald Trump.  Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Philadelphia Eagles addressed those who had an issue with the company he was keeping just before the team was scheduled appearance at the White House. “lol some people are really upset cause I played golf and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT,” he wrote. “Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. A video of Druski struggling to fit into a police car has surfaced online. According to TMZ, comedian Druski had a brief run-in with the law after being pulled over for running a red light.
