Megan Thee Stallion’s business portfolio continues to expand as she embarks on her next big role: producer. According to Deadline, the Houston native is executive producing a new Korean dance competition series— Kpopped. The Apple TV+ series will premiere on Friday, Aug. 29. It will consist of eight episodes. According to Kpopped‘s synopsis, “A group of western artists reimagine their hit songs in collaboration with K-pop idols. They compete in battle performances judged by an audience in Seoul.” Industry heavyweights such as Patti Labelle, Boys II Men, and Eve are expected to guest star. Along with the rapper, Moira Ross, Lionel Richie, Miky Lee, Stallion, Greg Foster, and others are also credited as producers. Megan Thee Stallion will also serve as the series’ host, side by side with Psy. He is the voice behind the 2012 viral hit, “Gangnam Style.” The dance competition will occur in the heart of Korea, specifically in the city of Seoul. Check out the trailer below. Not long ago, the rapper shared a video on TikTok and Instagram of her and NBA star Klay Thompson having a golfing date. In the nearly 10-minute video, Megan documents her trip to Arkansas. She reveals that, along with handling some business, she made sure to sneak in some one-on-one time with her new beau. Along with giving the Houston native some tips to up her golf game, Klay Thompson shared that her “love” had helped his skills improve. He called Megan his “good luck charm.” Toward the end of the almost ten-minute video, as they board a golf cart, Thompson said, “Ever since I’ve been in love, my golf game’s reaped all the benefits.” Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson have been spotted quite a lot since making their public debut at the rapper’s annual Pete & Thomas Foundation gala. From gym sessions to even the golf course, it seems the two can’t get enough of each other.

Busta Rhymes is receiving his long-overdue flowers The hip-hop legend will be honored with the 2,818th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony is slated for Friday, August 1, at 11:30 am PT at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard in front of East Town. Rhymes will be honored with his star in the category of Recording. Stevie Wonder is one of the greatest musicians of all time and at 75 years old, he has no plans to retire anytime soon. During a new interview with BBC’s Sidetracked podcast on Monday, July 21, the Motown legend revealed that he will keep performing as long as he can. “For as long as you breathe, for as long as your heart beats, there’s more for you to do,” Wonder told host Annie Mac. “I’m not gonna stop the gift that keeps pouring through my body.” He went on to explain that “an artist doesn’t stop drawing just because.” Instead, “you keep on. So as long as you can imagine, as long as you are going to be creative, and as long as you let your mind work, you don’t have to retire.”  The 25-time Grammy Award winner said he still gets excited about music just like he did when he released his first album at 12. “I love playing music, that’s like my mantra. I think I can do all the stuff I want to do – still have fun and do what I need to do – but I’m not going to stop the gift that keeps pouring through my body,” he said. “I love doing what I’m doing,” Wonder added. GloRilla is taking her talents to the WNBA. The WNBA announced that GloRilla will headline the halftime performance at the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, July 19. Both BIA’s pre-game and GloRilla’s halftime performance will be featured on ABC’s broadcast. Damon Dash is facing mounting legal pressure in Manhattan federal court after failing to comply with a court order related to a $4 million default judgment. AllHipHop reports that court documents filed on July 14 confirm that Dash has not submitted key ownership documents required to initiate the sale of his assets through a public auction. The U.S. Marshal’s Office cannot proceed without them. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Dame Dash (@duskopoppington) U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert Lehrburger criticized Dash’s lack of cooperation, describing it as part of a “pattern of non-compliance and delay.” He has ordered Dash to appear in court on July 31 at 10 a.m. to explain his inaction. Should he fail to appear, the court may issue a warrant for his arrest and impose additional financial penalties. Dash can avoid those outcomes by filing the missing paperwork by July 30. The dispute stems from a long-standing legal fight over the 2019 film Dear Frank. Dash was removed from the production but later asserted ownership, leading filmmaker Josh Webber and Muddy Water Pictures to sue for copyright infringement and defamation. A 2022 judgment ordered Dash to pay $805,000 after he missed court deadlines and refused to mediate. Tensions escalated further in 2025 after Dash made defamatory comments about Webber during an appearance on the Earn Your Leisure podcast. The remarks resulted in a $4 million default judgment against him. To recover damages, the court approved the sale of Dash’s business holdings, including stakes in Dash Films Inc., Bluroc LLC, Blakroc LLC, Lebanon Improvements LLC, Ocean East Improvements LLC, and 1996 Songs LLC. Poppington LLC was also directed to hand over copyright certificates tied to multiple film projects. Webber’s attorneys say those documents remain outstanding. In a recent court filing, Webber’s legal team asked the court to issue an arrest warrant and transfer control of Dash’s disputed assets to the U.S. Marshal. Dash previously sold his one-third interest in Roc-A-Fella Records in December 2024 for a little over $1 million, but the funds were absorbed by outstanding debts to New York State and did not offset the full judgment. With no resolution in sight, the court is now moving to liquidate the remaining assets. The U.S. Marshal will oversee the auction, and any excess proceeds will be returned to Dash once the judgment is settled in full.

Clipse continued their masterful rollout of their long-awaited album Let God Sort Em Out, with an epic performance on NPR’s “Tiny Desk.” Released on Friday, July 11, to coincide with the release of the album, No Malice and Pusha T proved why they are among the greatest rap duos of all time. Raphael Saadiq is heading back on the road. After sold-out shows  at the Apollo Theater in New York City, Los Angeles’ historic United Theater on Broadway, and in his hometown  of Oakland at the Fox Theater, Saadiq will be taking the stage with the No Bandwidth: One Man, One Night, Three Decades of Hits tour to several venues across the country. In a statement, Saadiq shared his vision for the show and his excitement about performing a one-man show. “I’ve always wanted to do a one-man show.
